Outstanding Citizen Wildlife Contributor of the Year Award 2025
Wil Warren, nominated by Debbie Colbert, Director of the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife, won the WAFWA Outstanding Citizen Wildlife Contributor of the Year Award 2025. On June 4th, 2025, Wil received this congratulatory award in a recognition ceremony held at the Utah Valley Convention Center in Provo, Utah.

The Western Association of Fish and Wildlife Agencies represents 18 Western States. Since 1922, WAFWA’s goal has been to support sound resource management and build partnerships at all levels to conserve wildlife for the use and benefit of all citizens, now and in the future. Their mission is to advance collaborative, proactive, science-based fish and wildlife conservation and management across the west.
