Canceled due to Covid-19

As founder and CEO of I’m Hooked Inc., I am saddened to say that our Timbo’s Tackle Fishing Derby has been canceled this year at Henry Hagg Lake – Scoggins Valley Park in Gaston Oregon. This is due to our current Covid-19 Pandemic and Governor Kate Brown’s executive order banning all statewide events of more than 25 people. Washington County Parks has also issued an order that large gatherings at any park are not allowed which includes Scoggins Valley Park (Henry Hagg Lake). We are keeping up to date with guidance from our public health professionals to reduce the spread of COVID-19. We plan to move this event to the Free Fishing Weekend on September 5th and 6th. Timbo’s Hand Tied Tackle established in 2013 and incorporated in Oregon is a privately held company in Banks OR.,  Tim Stromberg founder and CEO collaborated with I’m Hooked Inc., in 2017 and believed in the vision and launched the “Timbo’s Tackle Fishing Derby” as a Fundraiser for I’m Hooked Inc.

Bring the whole family for a fun-filled and free day of fishing and other great outdoor activities at Henry Hagg Lake!

Community mentors will help guide your child in the art of fishing, instilling a love of the sport to enjoy for many years to come!

Saturday, June 6th, 2020   5:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Sunday, June 7th, 2020      5:00 AM to 3:00 PM

Entry Fee per boat/ family: ($40.00)

What’s’ Included:

One T-Shirt Included w/entry fee | Extra T-Shirts available for $5 each
Lunch provided for the kids is included w/entry fee.
Adult lunches are $5. Cash or Check accepted
One fully loaded kid’s tackle box with each Derby Entry ($40 Value)
Prizes will be awarded for the largest fish of all species in the lake for adults and for kids.
Hourly Prize Drawings for All adults entered in the Derby!
Adults 1st place rods donated by NW RODS, Kalama, WA. (Largest BASS & TROUT)
Prizes need to be picked up by Sunday at 3:00 pm
Snow Cones $1.00

About the Park
Owned by the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation, maintained and operated by Washington County, the Park features numerous picnic areas, two boat launching facilities, a fully stocked lake for fishing, more than 14 miles of hiking/mt. biking trails, and observation decks for wildlife and bird watching.  Since the creation of Henry Hagg Lake in the mid-1970s, Washington County and the Bureau of Reclamation, have shared a commitment to make the Park user-friendly to every visitor.    Hagg Lake is located just 25 miles southwest of Portland, resting at the base of Oregon’s beautiful coastal range, Hagg Lake offers visitors the best of many outdoor recreational activities.
